Rev. 6:5 When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”
Let’s pick back up on this verse and the danger of living a measured life. When God evaluates my life, I don’t want Him to have to use scales that measure. I want Him be able to pour out, not just the oil and wine, but the barley and wheat without measure because He sees an unmeasured heart toward Him. I want to love, trust, and obey Him without measure. I don’t want my surrender and faith and passion to be calculated and measured. Like Mary of Bethany, I want to WASTE my life on Him. I want Him to be free to pour out His Spirit on my life without measure. Here is the good news if you are one who has held back or, once radically filled, have gone backward; He doesn’t harm the oil and the wine. He doesn’t take the Holy Spirit away from you, therefore you still have all you need to get filled again, but this time bring an Unmeasured Heart so that you can go all the way to experience a sustained, yet ever increasing, overflow of His unmeasured grace and glory.
