2Tim. 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;
1Tim. 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith;
Faith doesn’t make anything real; it is simply proof that something real already exists. As Christians, all of us were born into victory; the very victory of Christ. We were born into a war where all of our enemies have already been defeated. Jesus conquered sin, death, and the devil, and because we are in Him, His victory is our victory. Our battle now is not to gain the victory, but by faith stand in the victory that is ours already.
The conflict is, not to go up and take possession, but to stand in possession. As I’ve said, most Christians live fighting for a place of favor, anointing, and victory, from which they can live, but true Christianity is living in a place of favor, anointing, and victory, from which we can fight. Therefore, our fight is the fight of faith, not conquest, for we are standing by faith holding a position of conquest already won. This is where we abide, and the warfare of the enemy is to try to get us to move off that position, so that we find ourselves once again pleading for a freedom that we already have in Christ. Satan is a thief, and thieves by nature try to take what belongs to someone else. He knows that as a Christian you are standing in the victory of Christ, and his job is to rob you of your experience of victory, by moving you off your position faith. SO STAND!!!
