John 1:29  The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
John 1:32 John testified saying, “I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him.

It’s easy to get filled with The Holy Spirit. It’s as simple as a prayer. The real issue is how to stay filled with The Holy Spirit. Jesus, as the Son of Man, had The Holy Spirit descend on Him as a dove, and the dove remained upon Him. Doves are very sensitive, and are easily frightened away, but there was something about Jesus, as a man, that allowed The Dove to remain. I believe what The Holy Spirit found in Jesus was the heart of a Lamb. Jesus invites us in Matt.11 to learn from Him, for He is meek and lowly of heart. In other words, Jesus lived absolutely and utterly surrendered to the will of the Father. His radical submission to His Father’s will was the heart of a lamb.
Ps. 40:8 is a messianic psalm that tells us that Jesus’ attitude towards His Father was “I delight to do your will, o my God.”
This is the disposition that allows The Holy Spirit to remain on your life. The Dove won’t remain on an angry life, or one that murmurs and complains. He only remains on surrendered lives that joyfully takes what God gives and gives what God takes moment by moment. The Rule of The Dove occurs when The Dove finds the Heart of a Lamb.
