NASB Eph. 3:8 To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ,

AMP. Eph. 3:8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints (God’s consecrated people), this grace (favor, privilege) was granted and graciously entrusted: to proclaim to the Gentiles the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out],
This is just an extraordinary verse that changes reality in every way for the person in Christ. No wonder, the Lord says that the “poor in spirit” are blessed. If you are poor you are in a position to receive from someone who has plenty. It is a glorious day when the believer stops trying to live the Christian life by their own ability, and acknowledges their spiritual need, because it is at that point they are able to start drawing from the illimitable resources that are in Christ. Those resources are not far off, and therefore difficult to obtain; instead they are eminently accessible because Christ Himself is living in us, instantly available to share His unsearchable riches with us. Could there ever be any lack that a Christian could feel, that Christ’s sufficiency isn’t abundantly more than enough for. God has called us to live our lives, not being burdened by our need, but being liberated by His provision in the person of Jesus. It is the unfathomable riches of Jesus that is the basis of the Christian life being a life of faith. The word “unfathomable” means endless, and unmeasurable. It literally comes from two words; one being “can’t,” and the other being “excavate.” In other words, the riches of Christ available to us to live a victorious Christian life are so vast they can’t be excavated.
