Jer. 29:13, ”You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”
Deut. 4:29, ”But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.”
S.S.3:1, “On my bed night after night I sought him Whom my soul loves; I sought him but did not find him.
If there is a place in The Lord that you want that you see in the word; that is, you see something that is the will of God that you want so much that you can’t live without it, then you will have it in due time. However, if you can live without it, then you will. It is that simple. In your heart you’ve got to get up from your spiritual bed with a holy violence, and in faith and renewed obedience and surrender go after it. You can’t apathetically think you can enter into His fresh offers of higher places, by staying comfortable, with little movement. There will be a rising up and adjustments in thinking and seeking, and little foxes to be dealt with. We just can’t stay in our old familiar, safe, and comfortable places if we really want the “more” we say we long for. Jesus says to “rise up and come away with Him.” The new place He is headed is where you want to be, but you can’t get there hoping He’ll come to your old place.
