Song 4:2, “Your teeth are like a flock of shorn ewes
that have come up from the washing,
all of which bear twins,
and not one among them has lost its young.”
John 16:13 says, “When He, the Spirit of truth, come, He will guide you into all truth…” That last sentence in S.S. 4:2, promises that sitting before The Lord and allowing Him to speak into your life, especially through His Word, will always be very fruitful, and that last phrase, “and not one of them has lost its young,” is a promise from God, that you can count on, when you approach your time alone with Him. You can, in faith, declare, every time you approach the scriptures, that The Holy Spirit will not fail to lead you into all the truth, that you need to hear in that moment. Everything in the Christian life operates by faith. I would say everything in our walk is released and realized by faith; therefore, to release the Spirit of revelation, as you open your Bible, go ahead and thank Himin advance that HE IS going to speak to you words of Spirit and life, because He promised that He would. You’ll be joyfully stunned at how the Bible will come alive to you every time.
