One Thing 2/23/21 Living in the strength of God

Psalm 84:5- 7

“How blessed is the person whose strength is in you O God; their hearts have become the highways that You travel on! Passing through the Valley of weeping they dig deep and find springs of living water, and the rain of the Holy Spirit also covers the Valley with blessings for others. They go from strength to strength, growing stronger and stronger with every step forward, and the God of gods will be seen in His dwelling place.”

Those who have given up on trying to be strong for the Lord and have instead discovered that God Himself in Christ is their strength abide in immeasurable blessing as the very atmosphere of their daily life. Those who have learned to lean on their beloved as their source of strength for everything in life have made their hearts like highways that God can travel on and show Himself strong on. When the indwelling Christ is your adequacy, then the divine activity of God in your life becomes the norm.

When the strength that you walk in is God’s strength, then when you walk through the valleys of weeping, you will not be destroyed by those valleys. Instead, because His strength is sustaining, you will find yourself digging deep into Christ, drawing from fresh springs of His all-sufficient life within. Those valleys will actually become seasons of blessing in the midst of the weeping because of the springs of water and the fresh rain of the Holy Spirit. The supernatural power of God revealed in your life in those Valley times will leave behind pools of life and refreshing that are like spiritual oases that others can drink from, instead leaving behind pits of depression, despair, and bitterness. Life in this fallen world has a tendency to suck the life out of people as the years go by, but those who have learned to abide in the supernatural strength of God, go from strength to strength; not their own strength, but advancing more and more in the manifestation of His. These weak ones who have discovered that in their weakness, His strength is made perfect are the dwelling places of Christ who put His life on display.
