Have you ever felt overwhelmed? It’s just a feeling and not reality for the Christian, for you have been grafted into the very life of Christ, and He is never overwhelmed. He was tempted in every way like us, therefore he sympathizes with our weaknesses, but Jesus doesn’t do “being overwhelmed,” because Jesus doesn’t live “under the circumstances.” Haven’t you uttered those words before; “I’m doing pretty good – under the circumstances.” Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I just “put on (sink into) Christ,” and I find freedom because Jesus doesn’t do “overwhelmed.” Living from Christ, not just for Christ, is the miracle of the new creation because living for Christ is sincerely doing the best you can, but living from Christ is supernaturally doing the best He can.
