According to Ephesians 1:5,9, God has dealt with us and continues to deal with us according to His kind intentions. The glory of God is His goodness, and throughout the ages, God will be praised because of His goodness displayed in our lives in Christ.
Romans 8:28 clearly states that even though God does not cause all things, He will cause all things to reveal His goodness in our lives. He always leads us in His triumph in Christ – 2 Corinthians 2:14. Think about that, even though we live in a fallen world filled the tribulation – John 16:33, God, according to His kind intentions toward us, causes all things to work after the Council of His will – “also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will.” Ephesians 1:11. Even though the enemy of our soul is filled with evil intentions, we can trust that the God who reigns from the throne that’s high and lifted up, kind intentions will overrule for good “all things.”
No matter what we’re going through, no matter what our eyes see, we can “rejoice always; and in everything give thanks” – 1 Thessalonians 5:16, because we know that light will shine out of darkness, and God’s goodness, and kind intentions towards us will prevail, and be revealed “to the praise of His glory.”
