The baptism of the Holy Spirit is what immerses us in the fullness of Christ’s life and nature, enabling us to fully manifest the light of His life – John 8:12. It makes us experientially “one” with Jesus’s submissive nature. To be continually filled with the Holy Spirit on a daily basis is to enjoy the “Helper” internally teaching us all things about the ways of Christ living in us – John 14:26. Spirit-filled believers wake up each morning to “another day in the life of Jesus” lived through us. The Holy Spirit takes all that Jesus is and all that Jesus has and reveals (manifests) it to us (in us).
To walk in the Spirit is to abide in Christ, and one step at a time move from glory to glory in Christ through His “Spirit of glory” – 1 Peter 4:14. The Holy Spirit is called the “Spirit of truth” who leads us into all truth; the truth of who Jesus is (Jesus is the truth) in us through every situation in life. In Christ, all the fullness of deity is embodied, and by the Holy Spirit, we have been given access to that fullness. The fullness of Christ lived out through us is only limited by the measure of our availability and willingness to yield in childlike faith to His control and power. When you lay your head down to go to sleep tonight, do so in giddy anticipation of waking up tomorrow morning to the glorious adventure story of Spirit-filled living called “Another day in the life of Jesus,” lived out through you.
