2 Corinthians 5:21
For God made the only one who did not know sin to become sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God through our union with him.
Jesus, under the the banner of the Father’s love, assumed guilty and broken humanity in Himself, and took us to the Cross, that risen from dead we would be grafted into His innocence and unbrokenness. This is truly newness of life.
