If it is true that, as believers, we are seated in the heavenly places in Christ, then everything that is under His feet is under our feet, and in Christ, we are far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come.
Ephesians 2:7, says that we are seated in the heavenly places in Christ. It does not say that we are seated beside Christ, or alongside Christ, or because of Christ, but it says that we are seated in the heavenly places in Christ. Because we are in Christ and His position is now seated in the heavenly places, that is therefore also our position, and His place of rest and authority is our place of rest and authority. Everything is under Heaven’s dominion and authority, therefore our faith is never looking toward something, but always looking from a place that is far above everything below. We are not believing for a victory, but seated on a throne in Christ, we are believing from a victory already won over the power of si, and over the power Satan. We aren’t pleading for but resting in and believing from our place in Christ seated in Heaven.
