Do you pray toward Heaven, or do you pray from Heaven? Do you pray Heaven down, or do you pray down from Heaven? We have the mind of Christ, so we are thinking toward Him or from Him. Are you looking to Heaven for answers, or are you looking from Heaven with answers? Do we believe for blessings, or from blessings? How you answer those questions says a lot about what you understand about your union with Christ and the position you have in Him. I understand that there is a sense in which both, and are true, but the greatest reality is that you are in Christ seated in Heaven now. I know we will go to Heaven one day, but I am there now in Christ. Instead of begging Heaven to act, or to come down, maybe we should do as the Colossians verses tell us to do, and seek those things which are above, since that is where we are {in the world but not of the world}, and find out what Heaven says about the situation, and set our minds on that {think from that perspective} and pray and believe FROM that reality.
Also, if we already have been blessed with EVERY spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ, maybe instead of begging for a blessing, we should seek and discover what’s already ours and believe from those blessings, until we see the manifestation on earth. Faith doesn’t wait for manifestation; manifestation waits for faith.
Think, feel, believe, and behave from the reality of Heaven.
