(Eph. 1:8b-10a) In all wisdom and insight He made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times
When discerning what God is up to in your life, it’s important to look at things with a long, not short term, view. We know that God is good and therefore full of kind intentions in your life, but He us also full of wisdom and insight with a view towards something. It’s impossible to interpret wisdom in the short term, instead you simply have to trust, knowing that in time you will see the wisdom of it all. Often in the immediate, things don’t always make sense and may even look to have no value, but you can trust that not only is He still good, no matter what is happening, but He is wise and can see things for the long haul, and thus knows exactly what He is doing. You and I don’t see how or what He sees, therefore be at rest knowing that the One who is in control, and at work in our lives, loves us and His intentions are full of kindness, insight, and wisdom. Give “fullness of time” a chance to prove His affection and brilliance.
