On this day of The Nativity we celebrate the Incarnation and all of its implications. The Nativity ignites a Heavenly hope for life eternal in the presence of God. The Incarnation gives us an earthly hope of Eternal Life implanted in us now by the presence of God. That God could clothe Himself with human flesh was a dramatic reminder of human potential, possibility, and destiny. God’s intention in created mankind wasn’t to create a race of hapless worms that could possibly somehow entertain Him through their trained obedience. God created a race of beings that were tailor made to contain His very presence and thus reveal His likeness. His own Masterpiece that was to reveal more of who He really is than any other thing, or being. Since in the created universe God can’t be see, mankind was created so that God could parade all living creatures by human beings, and say, “If you want know what I, your creator am like, then just watch them.” We were created to be volunteer Worshippers (Lovers), in personal relationship with Him, who looked just like Him. True love, and true likeness on display was our destiny. At the Crèche, prophecy was fulfilled, and true destiny was restored. God in union with humanity again. Man’s true purpose recovered, and his dignity, nobility, royalty, and significance portrayed.
At the crèche we with startled remembrance cry out, “O My, I’m not a worm. I somehow knew there was more than what I’ve been. I was created for this; to fly, to live supernaturally, to model Eternal Life, Life from Above Life. That baby is my hope. I don’t have to live below any more. I was born to soar. I’m made for Heavenly things. I too, like this baby, am fashioned to contain and put on display God’s very life. I am made to be a Dwelling Place for PRESENCE AND GLORY.”
Because of the Incarnation you and I no longer have to live hopeless, meaningless, and small lives ever again. The whole created world has groaned in anticipation of your return to your rightful place of Dignified Dominion. Just think of it, a whole new Race of people, restored to their predestined place, taking back relinquished authority from the Evil Usurper, until The Kingdoms of This World become The Kingdom of Our God and His Christ.
