Col. 3:3-4, For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life is revealed, then you will be revealed with him in glory.
Jesus is what God believes about you. I did not say that you are Jesus; I said that Jesus is what God believes about you. The person that you used to be died on the cross in the crucifixion of Christ, and you were raised up in union with Him as a new creation. Your life is hidden with Christ (That is in union with Christ.) in God. You’ll never discover the true you as a Christian by looking for yourself. You will only find the truth about your real identity by looking to Christ because you are in union with Him. He is your life, not just your Lord or your helper. All that Jesus is and all that Jesus has, you have in Christ. You have been placed into His life and all His illimitable resources. Therefore, nothing that God requires of you seems impractical or impossible to Him because, in Christ, He has already equipped you with all that Jesus has for you to do what he has required of you.
