Gal. 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Rom. 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by (in) His life.
The mystery revealed of the Christian life is Christ in you the hope of glory. This is what makes Christianity more than just a sentimental trod toward heaven, out of gratitude for God. The Christian life is supernatural, and it is supernatural because we are in Christ and Christ is in us. Just think of it; Christ living HIS LIFE through you. It’s very important though, to remember that you were baptized into Christ; He wasn’t a baptized into you, even though He is in you. The point I want to make is that Jesus is in you to live HIS LIFE, not yours. If you want to experience His life, it has to be the life HE LIVES, on His terms. Of course this is accomplished in the context of your vocation, calling, and daily affairs, but He is now in control, ordering your days, relationships, events, future, etc. It’s now the life HE LIVES, and therefore there can be no complaints in how He orders it. The life HE LIVES is fascinatingly supernatural, but He is now the great WRITER, CHOREOGRAPHER, AND DIRECTOR of every detail of this play called your life. He now lives HIS LIFE in all it’s grand supernatural splendor on the stage of your life. You’ve been placed into HIS STORY as He lives it out through yours. You in Christ; Christ in you. What an AMAZING adventure everyday IN CHRIST us.
