Psa. 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Eph. 5:20 always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;
1Th. 5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
John 14:19 “After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.
It s easy to give thanks when the things around you make sense and make you feel good. The problem is even the Lost are grateful under those circumstances. Those who know Jesus and have cultivated familiarity with Him are able to give thanks in and for all things because, unlike the world, they can see Him at work even in the darkest place, causing everything to work together for good. You see a true believer doesn’t operate by comprehension, instead, they operate by confidence, especially when everything looks bad in the natural.
Rev. 4:1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place in the midst of these things.”
Rev. 4:2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One sitting on the throne.
Those who have been nourished in His presence have discovered that He sits on a Throne and, in the midst of the crazy things that go on in this fallen world, He, not the Devil, declares what must take place. He Reigns and He is infinitely brilliant, wise, and good. If He is Lord and if He is good, then we can, by faith, BLESS THE LORD AT ALL TIMES!!!
