John 3:31 “He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.
John 4:7 There *came a woman of Samaria to draw water. Jesus *said to her, “Give Me a drink.”
When you approach life; that is, when you come at life from a heavenly perspective you see everything different than those who come at life for an earthly perspective. Those who come at life from an earthly perspective only see things as they appear to be, but those who live life from an “above” vision of reality see things “as it is in Heaven.” When you live life bearing witness of what you’ve seen and heard in the reality of the kingdom of heaven, you release the authority and the reality of the kingdom of heaven into situations.
When people looked at the woman at the well, they saw scandal, shame, failure and immorality. When Jesus saw her from the Father’s perspective, He saw a seeker, longing for love. He saw the heart of a lovesick worshiper waiting to be awakened. He saw a fighter, not a failure. He saw an eternal companion. He saw the Bride longing to be swept off her feet.
When you are from above, then you are above all, and everything looks different.
By the way, you and I have been seated in the heavenly places in Christ, so that we too can approach life from an “above” vision, releasing Heavens realty everywhere we go.
