Psa. 42:7 Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls;
All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.
Ezek. 43:2 and behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the way of the east. And His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His glory.
Rev. 1:15 His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been made to glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters.
Rev. 1:12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands;
I’ve shared from this verse several times lately, but the truth here has intercepted my heart. It’s seems that that I’m being drawn out into His waves, taking me out into the deep. The word in 42:7 “sound,” is a Hebrew word that is used to describe the voice of God. It’s is this “SOUND,” like the sound of “Many Waters,” (thus the WATERFALLS of Ps.42) that draws us into His presence. In His presence the Breakers of His BEAUTY sweep us off our feet, and roll over us, carrying us out into the deep, where we get lost forever in the currents and torrents of His lovesick heart. If you are hearing that “Sound” calling you into his presence, all you have to do is dare to turn “to see the voice,” and the breakers of The depths of Him will take you away to the place of joy and gladness Song of Solomon 1:4 speaks of.
