Rev. 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John,
Rev. 4:1 In the midst of these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place in the midst of these things.”
Once again these verses intrigue me. Bondservants live “caught up” lives. They live their lives on the breast of Jesus, constantly wrecked by His heartbeat. It’s one thing to be seated in the Heavenly places; it’s another thing to live there.
These wrecked and wasted Worshipers spend so much time on the other side of The Wardrobe Door, that Holy Narnia becomes more real to them than the reality of this fallen world. They don’t just live with a constantly renewed nostalgia of His beauty, but their minds become renewed to a whole different perspective of what is real and what is false. Filled with the visions of Heaven, which comes from constantly seeking those things which are above, they begin to set there minds on things above and that supernatural reality, not on the things that are on the earth.
When confronted with what this world says MUST TAKE PLACE, they know another, greater truth, by which they operate. Their minds are filled with the possibilities of heavenly scenes, they discern the WHAT MUST TAKE PLACE truth from a Throne High and Lifted Up, and they declare that reality into the fallen realm, thus enforcing The Kingdom of God on Earth. They see Earth’s WHAT MUST TAKE concerning sickness, brokenness, loneliness, poverty, etc. and impose the WHAT MUST TAKE PLACE of the Heavenly Realm because they know that’s the really real reality. They know the TRUTH and the TRUTH sets people free.
