Psa. 42:7 Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.
The great offer is declared in this verse for those who long to experience the depths of God’s heart. The offer is simple; the depths of Him calls for the depths of us. To the degree that we are willing for Him to posses us, even to the very depths of our desires, dreams, and affections, is the degree to which we are allowed to apprehend His heart and affections. As the object of His love, in one sense we already have His heart and affection, but only the possessed truly posses. I don’t want just to know I have, I want to fully experience all that I have. He always takes so that He can freely give. Our greatest gift is His presence. Our greatest treasure is His presence realized. Only there do we find fullness of joy.
Dare to want it all. Dare to long for the endless wonders of His depths. You were created to live there; to find your true purpose and worth there. Dare then, to give it all, even to the depths.
