Psa. 97:2 Clouds and thick darkness surround Him;
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.
Behind every dark cloud is a silver lining and that silver lining is the presence of The Lord. From time to time there are things that come into our lives that look and feel like clouds and thick darkness and, even though God is never the author of evil, we can look beyond the evil and find Him there, wanting to encounter us. As we walk through dark times, it’s encountering His presence that doesn’t just sustains us, but transforms us. Clouds and thick darkness always eventually pass on. Clouds are temporary, but the affect of a His presence on us, during those times, has eternal value. Don’t waste the storms; it’s there we learn to behold Him and how to walk on water.
