So many of us spend so much time hoping for what hasn’t happened yet, that we are partially paralyzed in how much The Holy Spirit can use us in the now. In reality, even though it is an awesome thing to desire more, even much more, as far as the anointing is concerned, we need to learn to walk in all that God has already done, while always longing for more actualization. Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us (that’s past tense) with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”
If you are in Christ then you’ve got it all. When The Holy Spirit breaths on you in a fresh way, and you experience a fresh touch and filling, you don’t get something you didn’t already have; The Holy Spirit simply freshens what you’ve already experienced, and increases your capacity to experience more of what’s already yours in Christ. If you are in Christ then all of Christ is in you. Hear that; not part of Christ, but ALL. It is The Holy Spirit’s role to reveal the reality of Christ to you and in you. It is also His work to actualize all that Jesus is in your daly experience. There will always be more to discover and enter into, but don’t let the devil be a thief to you and rob you of the wonders of all that Christ is in you today by telling you you don’t have IT yet. You’ve got HIM who is the IT, so abide in Him, resting in all that He is in you as your victor, and all that He is prepared to do through you in signs and wonders, as you simply by faith let Him.
