Evryday we face all kind of uncertainties. Everything familiar around us seems to be changing at an incredible pace. Times like this can create a lot of worry, and anxiety. It’s easy to daydream about living in a world full of the expected, instead of the unexpected. That would bring such peace wouldn’t it. I’ve often counsel people over the years when they were facing situation’s full of uncertainties but the one thing, and the only thing they could be absolutely certain of was the He would be faithful. Jesus and His faithfulness is the Christians “safe space” He is our constant source of assurance and peace. There are a lot of things I don’t know, But there is one thing I do know, even when my faith is teetering, and that is He will remain faithful because He cannot deny being Himself. I have put all my eggs in that basket. As one who is called to walk in faith, my faith is not in my faith. my faith rests securely in His faithfulness. Faith is like our eyes. You only know they are working when they are fixed on an object, Our object is Jesus, the one who is always faithful. So today if you are internally being tossed to and fro because of all the changes and uncertainties of the world we live in, just plunge into the peaceful reality that He is intimately involved in every area of your life, and will be what he always is, FAITHFUL. Lean effortlessly into his faithfulness and you will find rest for your souls even in the midst of the chaos of a world that seems to be falling apart. As long as Jesus doesn’t fall apart, you won’t. “In Him all things hold together,” and you are in Him. Col. 1:17
