2 Cor. 3:16, but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
An unveiling can be difficult and painful, but it is the only path into liberty, and a transformation that moves from glory to glory. Whenever you turn to the Lord longing for new freedom and glory, a new unveiling always happens. In His presence He shows us new things, or deeper things that we get to lay at the altar of His heart. It is sad how desperately Christians avoid the unveiling, in fear that guilt and condemnation will be the result, but instead, in the presence of the One who loves us so, the unveiling always results in mercy, and forgiveness, and ultimately a new freedom in an increasing experience of His glory.
