One Thing 7/22/15

Isaiah 37:26 says, “Have you not heard? Long-ago I did it, from ancient times I planned it, now I have brought it to pass…”

Hebrews 4 talks about entering into HIS REST. It doesn’t just say that we’re to enter into rest; it actually says that we are to enter into HIS rest. Hebrews 4:4 says, that God rested on the seventh day from all of His works. He rested, because His works were already done; thus, to enter into His rest is to enter into an “it’s already done rest.” Sabbath rest is a resting faith that knows it is already done, though you can’t see it in the natural yet. In all of the situations that you’re believing God for, Sabbath rest believes that God has already handled it, and by faith, just walking it out to discover and experience the victory that He is already won. Psalm 37:4 says,”Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He will do it.” The word it is in italics because it is not supposed to be there. The last part of that verse actually reads,” trust also in Him and He will do.” The word it is not supposed to be there. It is so easy to get hung up on the “Ittites”; always trying to figure out, and stressing about how He is going to do It. In the Old Testament, the people of God had to face the Canaanites, and the Jebusites, and the Gergashites, etc., but one of our biggest enemies that we face daily are the ITTITES.  It seems that we are always wanting to what or how God is going to do IT  before we will trust Him. Though he doesn’t always fully disclose to us how He is going to handle the situation, (or should I say has already handled it) what’s important is that we enter into the Sabbath rest that believes He’s has already done it, and if we’ll just trust Him one step at a time we will see His finished work manifested in our lives. What fun it is, to wake up every day and find out what God did.
