(Eph. 1:3 ), Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies in Christ; (Eph. 2:4 -7), But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together in Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us in Him in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
How a great a salvation! Talk about new birth. When you were born again you became a new creation by being placed into Christ, seated in the heavenlies. By His grace, God took fallen, soiled, earth seeing people, and transformed them by placing them into the life of another who lives in the heavenly realm. Think about the fact that you were placed into the person Jesus. Being in Him, there is a co-mingling; that is a mutual indwelling and union. He lives in and from the heavenlies, and because you are in Him, so do you. He is seated far above, all rule and authority in the spiritual realm, and because you are in Him, so are you. To be in Christ is a dynamic reality from which we must learn to live from. Our minds must be renewed so that we live conscious of the fact that we are in the life of another who lives in and from a heavenly realm, and perspective; and we must learn to think, and see, and act from that place towards all other realities. Situations and attacks from the enemy look totally different, and are handled totally different, when you’re looking and thinking and acting from heaven. This is the life of faith; not looking for something, or toward something, but looking from someone (Jesus) toward all things else. “He who comes from Heaven is above all.” In all the ages to come, our newness of life; our resurrection into new creations in Christ, will be the great display of His grace.
