Matt. 14:27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”
To live in a perpetual environment where God is allowed to act on your behalf in every situation is to walk in The Spirit. In every circumstance of life, Jesus is there saying, “Be not afraid, I Am.” This verse is taken from the story of Jesus walking on the water. The Guys in the boat were already afraid that their boat was about to sink, and now they see someone walking on the water. At first they thought it was a ghost until Jesus identifies Himself. Jesus is telling them to not be afraid because what threatens to be over their heads is already under His feet. Jesus wants us to walk into every situation, especially those that threaten to be over our head, thanking Him that this situation is already under His feet. Christ is our victory and and each situation we face is a victory He has already won. We simply get to walk it out by faith in time and space, and experience what He has already done.
