I think the options are really clear, either live overwhelmed or overshadowed. When Gabriel announced to Mary that she would give birth to The Christ she asked “How” since she had not been with a man. This was impossible and I’m sure she felt overwhelmed. All of us know what it is like for God to require of us what seems impossible, and feeling overwhelmed because of it. It’s good to remember what Gabriel said to Mary when she asked “How.” He told her that the Holy Spirit would come upon her, and that the power (ability) of the Most High would OVERSHADOW her (her weakness and inability). When you feel overwhelmed just, by faith, (which means having asked then thank Him for it) ask the Holy Spirit to overshadow you with the ability of God for the task at hand. Life is so much better being overshadowed than being overwhelmed
