When you’ve been placed into Christ everything about you changes. Your past is totally changed. Your present is a totally different reality, and your future is transformed. It is all summed up in the person of Christ. It’s now all His story. Because you are In Christ, your story is now His story. Remember, the One who now owns your story sits on a throne. As a Christian, when you look at your past, you should only see Jesus, and His throne. He rules the past. He bought it and has put His sovereign stamp on it. It’s no longer your past, full of sin, brokenness and failure; it is His, brought under His sovereign purposes. Your past is now serving Him who sits own His throne, not the devil. When you look back, you should only see Him, who rules. He is also your NOW. Your PRESENT is all about Jesus, and what He is able to do, and His sovereign rule over everything your involved in. He is Lord over every situation and He is Big Enough for everything you are facing. You are in Him and He is ruling all around you, and He is in you constantly more than big enough. Finally, your future is Jesus. There are no uncertainties for you, because He is already there full of sovereign purpose, power, and provision. He is your future in terms of times, destiny, and eternity. He is even the big story at your death, which He of course also rules. Everything in your life truly does SUM UP CHRIST. Practice His presence as your past, present, and future. It’s all about Him all of the time.
