Of course Easter isn’t over; it has only begun. Easter isn’t the end of a Lenten journey; the Lenten journey ends at a beginning called Easter that changes everything daily, and it never ends, forever. If you are a Christian then you are an Easter Person at the start of each new day, facing each new (or old) temptation or circumstance. Easter changes you dramatically, and changes the way you face life in this fallen world, dramatically. As an Easter person you are no longer a mere earthling caught in a heavenly war totally unequipped for battle. Instead you find yourself in union with “The Great Overcomer,” the one who conquered the great enemy “Death,” who had never lost before, and his King, “Satan.” Because of three days of intense battle and victory, you are one with Him who is King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, who has joined Himself to your daily battles with the same power that conquered “Death.” What then could you ever face in your life is He not BIG ENOUGH for? It is the new EASTER REALITY.
