Galatians 2:20
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and [a]the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
If its true, and it is, that Jesus risen from the dead, in all His illimitable resources is alive in me now, how do I enter into the experience of that glorious reality. By faith! That’s what the verse says; I live by faith. Faith in someone who has already proven He is worthy of my faith, by demonstrating how much He loves me by giving Himself up for me. Remember, faith invokes the activity of God. Also remember faith is substance. If you’ve come to the conviction that what God says is true then you receive it, before you ever see it with your eyes. You have it in your heart as substance and act accordingly because it is so, before you ever see it as so. You don’t go into a situation wanting Him to live through you, or hoping He will share His ability. You go into each and every situation knowing that He IS living in and through right now, sharing with you His ability. If He is your life then you have His wisdom, strength, love, patience, peace, power, etc. and you with absolute confidence in His faithfulness can go ahead and thank Him for it, and then watch Him work. Spiritual rest is not a life of inactivity, but a life of resting in His activity. You’ll probably be busier than ever but the pressure and the load will be on Him not you, and His load is easy, and His burden is light. You can’t live in fear and anxiety, and live in faith at the same time. Again, it’s not a matter of will IT work like its some formula. It’s a matter of He is working, and in light of that fact I’m restfully, and joyfully acting like it is so, when it isn’t so, in order for it to be so, because it is so. God is working right now according to your faith. It’s not faith in your faith, but faith in His faithfulness, that invokes His activity into your experience. We will look at this more tomorrow, so until then have a great day celebrating by faith His life flowing in and through for every situation and temptation. Remember, the language of faith isn’t please, but thanks.
