John1:18, “ No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.”
Someone has said that we have to learn to love from the inside. I believe that is an awesome statement; but I would expand on that and say that we must learn to live from the inside. To love from the inside is to be in union with the heart of Jesus, and to see people, and love them through His eyes and His heart. The reality is, everything in the Christian life must come from the inside out; seeing, loving, and living from His heart and mind. A branch rests in intimacy and dependency, totally unable to produce fruit, but created to bear fruit from the inside out. It’s the vine that produces fruit through the branch, as long as the branch abides in the heart of the vine. Jesus, as the Son of Man, lived from the inside out. The above verse in John 1, says Jesus was “in the bosom of the Father.” There has been a lot of theological gaggle about that statement, but I believe it is simply saying that He lived in the heart of the Father. As a matter of fact, that phrase should actually be written “into the bosom of the Father.” Jesus was always pressing into the heart of His Father, and it is from that place, living in the heart of the Father, that He manifested the life of the Father. If you and I will only press into the heart of Jesus and stay there, (abide there) we will manifest His life and love from the inside out.
