One Thing 1/6/15

Song 3:5  “I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem,
By the gazelles or by the hinds of the field,
That you will not arouse or awaken my love
Until she pleases.”

Jesus’ heart is so thrilled when He finds someone under the spell of Lovesickness. If you remember, the “daughters of Jerusalem” represent those Christians who have an affection for Jesus, but they are holding back their whole heart, in fear of the cost, because they have no vision for the glorious reward that “The Taken” receive.
Jesus warns those “Almost Ones” to not disturb the “Lovesick” who live in the holy trance of His presence and passion. Often the “Almost” get frustrated with the “Lovesick” because the Lovesick seem to be too radical. They seem to have gone overboard; to be too extreme. They seem to not be practical.
What the “Almost” don’t seem to get is that the radical, extreme love of Jesus was meant to captivate radical Lovers who will waste their lives loving Jesus back. Don’t let the Almost Ones arouse you from your heart that is already aroused for Jesus, and don’t let them awaken you from your heart that has been wakened to His beauty.
