Psa. 27:4 ¶ One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the LORD
And to meditate in His temple.
Psa. 16:11 You will make known to me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
Loneliness, acute boredom, and despair finds it’s root in a lack of fascination. We were created to be fascinated, and His beauty alone can fascinate us to fullness of joy. The discoveries of Him is an endless ocean filled with immeasurable treasures. The chief purpose for our creation, and thus our first calling, is to live consciously before His presence. As The Lord reveals His beauty to us, we live in a constant state of fascination and Joy. When I’m seeking His presence, Beholding His beauty, I’m not vulnerable to boredom and despair. In that place of Beholding, delighting in Him becomes a way of life, and it’s hard to be full of delight, and loneliness, and despair at the same time. His presence is our true home, and it is a home full of Holy stimulation, and fascination, and wonder. During this time of the year when so many deal with loneliness, and depression, draw on His presence, and beauty. You will find that His face is so glorious that your soul will be filled with the laughter and excitement of unimaginable discoveries.
