Song 2:10 ¶ “My beloved responded and said to me,
‘Arise, my darling, my beautiful one,
And come away with me.
Song 2:12 ‘The flowers have already appeared in the land;
The time has arrived for singing,
And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land.
Song 2:15 ¶ “Catch the foxes for us,
The little foxes that are ruining the vineyards,
While our vineyards are in blossom.”
Whenever The Lord calls us to rise up and come away with Him to a new higher place, it is because we have personally arrived at a place where The Holy Spirit has prepared us for advance in The Lord. These breakthrough times are very exciting. They are certainly times of singing, but for us to enter in we must be on the alert. Notice in verse 15 The Lord’s warning. It’s when our hearts begin to blossom, as they are being awakened and begin to manifest the first fruits of a new Season in Christ, that the Little Foxes come to ruin and rob us of our longed for experience. It isn’t the huge things that the enemy sends; it’s the Little Things that distract and cut us off from the promised blessing. The attack, and attempt by Satan will come every time, and our commitment to see the Little Foxes and catch them will determine if we make it through this time. How many time have you been close, only to be intercepted again, and again by distractions, pressures, disappointments, interruptions, and simple procrastination. The Lord will show you which little foxes are attacking your breakthrough to a higher place, but you must pay attention, stay intentional, and take action. Just ask Him to show you. Just your asking Him, stirs His heart, because it reveals a higher level of Holy Determination this time.
