Song 2:9 “My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag.
Behold, he is standing behind our wall,
He is looking through the windows,
He is peering through the lattice.
Song 2:10 “My beloved responded and said to me,
‘Arise, my darling, my beautiful one,
And come along.
The one who looks at your heart as more important than your history relates to you as your Beloved, not your judge. It is your Beloved that comes and calls you out of a comfort to a higher place that will involve greater risks and deeper surrender. Because He is your beloved, He can be trusted, as He calls us out and up. No matter the cost, He who relates to you with proven tenderness and love can be trusted with your life. He lives eternally as The Slaughtered Lamb, and has therefore forever proven how far His love for us will take Him. How far will my love for Him take me. He would never, as your Beloved call to any new place that didn’t in the end result in you living in a greater glory and fulness. Even if He is using something painful to stir you up to climb higher, Will You trust Him, and be willing for Him to take even more in His quest for all of you, and your quest for all of Him.
