A couple of weeks ago as I was walking into a room, the Lord spoke a clear word to me. He said “Everything on the earth is pivoting.”The word Pivot means “A short rod or shaft on which a related part rotates or swings.” The word pivoting means “To cause to rotate, revolve, or turn.”
The Lord is saying that everything is about to turn in one direction or another. That is everything is about to change politically, governmentally, economically, socially, and spiritually. Governments and nations are going Pivot one way or the other. They are going to be suddenly raised up, or suddenly brought down. We’re going see economies in nations pivot. We are going to see alliances among nations change suddenly. Spiritually, Christians are going to dramatically Pivot radically towards the purposes of God, or radically away from believing God for His extravagant purposes. Just by not pivoting towards a “life without nets” will cause others to radically pivot toward cynicism, and safety. We are swiftly reaching a tipping point where believers can no longer stand undecided about how far they’re willing to go, and how much they’re willing to risk. The book of Acts is once again being raised up to take its rightful place as the objective manual for normal Christianity. Acts once again will be the plumbline by which the Christian experience is compared, and the people of God all over the world will find themselves adjusting to the example of normal Christianity in the book of Acts, instead of dummying it down so we feel comfortable about our own experience. Our experience can no longer be our plumbline; instead it will be the Word of God. Keep your eyes open to what God is doing, for the “Breaking News Stories” that are coming forth from all over the world is the circumstantial Pivot that will promote this pivoting.
