A few weeks ago the Lord spoke a word which I gave publicly – somewhere there was going to be some major volcanic activity. It would be a prophetic sign in the natural a lot of explosive things would be happening on earth. Just explosive things happening in the natural. In terms of geopolitical and such, the volcanic eruptions will be a sign to us not only to be in prayer but will indicate explosive things happening in the spiritual. This word ties into the previous word given about Must Shortly Take Place time. All I can say is I heard the word ‘explosive’, there will be explosive things happening in the spiritual. Explosive things don’t necessarily mean bad, but can. It’s just things will happen quickly and have a real impact which can include good things. Be aware of what God is doing and be in prayer and on the alert for this natural volcanic activity.
This word was given at a public service on a Tuesday and on the Thursday it was recorded on the Today show that Kilauea, the volcano in Hawaii, was experiencing its greatest activity and movement in its history. Within two days the word was confirmed in the natural. I believe there will be more volcanic activity to confirm the prophetic in the natural. Never forget, when God does prophetic things in the natural that seem destructive, its Gods way of provoking our hearts to respond to Him and love Him. Often in the Old Testament when the hearts of Israel wandered away from God, drifted off from Him, became passive and casual towards him, the Lord would allow things to happen to them. In Joel the locusts devastated Israel and the surrounding nations. The Lord allowed the locust to deal with their hearts. God wasn’t rejecting, condemning or abandoning them, He allowed the locust to stirring them up – awaken in them their love for Him. It’s was also about harvesting their hearts, provoking their hearts to desire Him and love Him above everything else. It says in the book of Joel ‘return to me with all your heart’, not just half your heart God wants people to love Him with ALL their heart. Whenever God proclaims this people ask me how these prophetic words about volcanos, tornados, and earthquakes or other things, which cause destruction, can be from God, or be used by God who reigns? I remind them of Israel’s experience with the locusts. Remember it isn’t about plagues or rejection. God’s number one priority is to harvest lovers of Him – to harvest hearts of men. Whenever God brings a work of discipline that seems harsh it’s His way, it’s His jealous love, not rejection, but jealous love for people to look to Him, to long for Him. This has been His way throughout the history of mankind.
Joel 2:12 “Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.”13 Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love.”
