I have been sharing this word for a couple weeks now but it is time for me to write it down and send it out. About two or three weeks ago during my foot stool time with the Lord, He spoke clearly to me these words, “The afterbirth will be worse than the birthing.” I knew that he was talking to me about the upcoming election and all of the incredible chaos that has gone on in America during this election year. As polarizing as it has been among the politicians and the citizens of the United States, it is going to get much worse after the birthing of the next president on November 3. The divisions will become like a great cracking in the foundation. 2020 has certainly been a year of clarity for God has allowed a lot of things to come into clear view. The demonic that is been hiding in dark corners are now dancing in plain sight, and the church is rediscovering her true citizenship, security, and assignment to pursue the manifestation of Christ likeness above all things. We are not to fear the depth of darkness that is shaking hallowed foundations in the natural, for light always finds its true identity and assignment in the darkness. I believe that we are in one of the greatest times throughout history, and the church which is the light of the world and the salt of the earth is rediscovering its saltiness and its brightness. Revival, the great tsunami, is on its way but light always shines out of darkness. As the enemy has tried to destroy, the Lord has used the ploy in the plans of the evil one to conform His holy ones to the image of Christ. Things will not settle down after the election but in one form or another things will grow much worse, but it is significant that we have 2020 vision to look beyond the storm and see Jesus walking on the water saying “Fear not, I am.” This year birthing a president has been extraordinarily bizarre and at times unsettling by the degree of chaos that is going on around us. Even though God does not create chaos, He does create masterpieces out of chaos. The afterbirth of this election will be astoundingly traumatic for many in so many different ways but Jesus will be in the midst of the storm accomplishing supernatural things, shaping destiny, shifting priorities and realities. We are coming into the worst of times and the best of times. Those who don’t have eyes to see it will only seem like the worst of times, but for those who are seeing from the heavenly places in Christ will see Jesus winning and His purposes advancing at an accelerated level.
