If you’ve been hungry, I mean really hungry, for more of God, then you can expect a fresh touch from the Holy Spirit in this season. Go ahead and thank Him for it. Don’t try to imagine what it’s going to look like, just know its coming, and it will be life altering. If you want it, God is about to transfer you in a moment into a new realm. Don’t dictate to God the terms of what you will be comfortable with. 2Cor. 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).
The Holy Spirit is Lord, and He will either do the dictating or He won’t come at all.
I was at a conference recently and heard the great missionary Heidi Baker speak. Over and over again she said “Wake up, be careful, cross over.” She was talking about coming into a new supernatural place in The Holy Spirit. A new place where you experience in a fuller way “The Life That Jesus Lives.”
If you’ve awakened to a new hunger for more, then The Holy Spirit is about to breath on you again, so you can cross over into a new world, a new realm. When it comes, be careful to be a good steward this time of God’s blessing. Purpose in your heart that you will nurture and cultivate the fresh touch this time. When God births something new in us we have a part to play in stewarding what He begins. Often, in the past, many have taken the “Fresh Breath” for granted and have allowed it to wither, and fade into the background of memories. It’s time to cross over. God is saying a lot these days about bridge crossing from one reality into another. When you do this time, keep it alive, allowing it to grow.
