Another word for righteousness is “goodness.” We have become the righteousness of God in Christ- 2Cor. 5:21, therefore we aren’t striving to become righteous; we are trusting to manifest righteousness. Righteousness/goodness is a person, and we have been grated into that person and His goodness/righteousness. IN CHRIST righteousness has attained you.
