Eternal Life is not primarily about chronology, but it is life as it’s lived in Heaven. It is, by nature, supernatural and is oiled with His presence. To be Born Again is to lay aside the old man, of this fallen world, and to become a carrier of life from above.
Just think of it, you carry the life of Heaven in you. There should always be something supernatural about us; the way we think, feel, react, and behave in every situation should reveal another world. Jesus said that though in this world, we are not of this world.
God has called us to impact this fallen world with the reality of Heaven that rests on us. You’ve heard it said that you can be so Heavenly minded that you are no earthly good, but I believe it’s just the opposite. I believe the more you embrace the mind of Christ, and therefore the more Heavenly minded you become, the more good you will do on Earth.
