Pray for New York City 8/1/11
About 4 or 5 weeks ago I had this real burden probably 4 weeks ago this burden for New York City. I began to pray for New York City and had some key people praying for New York City and I’m not sure exactly what’s going on. I know that there is a spirit of revival being released in Harlem, which is basically just a neighborhood in New York City. There is also this sense, this check, and this concern for New York City. I know that part of this was fulfilled about a week and a half ago when in one day on a Sunday 823 gay couples were married in New York City that had all won a lottery. There was great grief over the city because the word also involved New York State in general. They have sort of set the pace again. The state of New York has renewed the whole move of homosexual marriages being legalized and people on both sides of the battle, both sides of the fight believe that because New York is so large and so influential not only in this country but in the world that the battle will be renewed to try to get every state to make this thing legal. But I also have this specific burden for New York City. Again, I believe that part of that fulfillment is what happened that day. There were so many people such a heart-breaking event. There is still this burden on me that has not lifted concerning New York City, so lets be in prayer for New York City.
