Song 3:10 “He made its posts of silver,
Its back of gold
And its seat of purple fabric,
With its interior lovingly fitted out
By the daughters of Jerusalem.
Every Christian is in Christ; so in a sense each of us have our own Sedan Chair that has been lovingly fitted out by Christ for us. That means that, though there has been millions and millions of Believers since the Cross, each Believer has their own unique journey in Christ. As I said, we are all in Christ, and we all share the same graces, but each person has there own unique journey on the way to the wedding.
The phrase “fitted out,” is an awesome Hebrew word. It carries the idea of “embroidery,” but it also has the the idea of “layers” in the word. The point being, that with great love for you, He prepared your “In Christ” grace uniquely just for you. He knows everything about you. He knows everything about you perfectly; your personality, emotions, giftings, passions, etc. All Believers are of course going to Heaven, but it is so comforting to know that my journey through this fallen world is custom fitted in Christ just for me. There is nothing you will ever face in this world that isn’t already planned for, and prepared for, in your walk with Jesus. Your journey has already been fully fitted out with victory, for every situation and temptation, before you ever arrive at them.
