I’m on the road. Will be home in a couple of days, and the devotionals will get back to normal. Here is a short word for your encouragement.
Zech. 9:15 The LORD of hosts will defend them.
And they will devour and trample on the sling stones;
And they will drink and be (boisterous as with wine;)
And they will be filled like a sacrificial basin,
Drenched like the corners of the altar.
Luke 1:35 The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will (overshadow) you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God.
One of my favorite prayers has become, “Lord I want to live overwhelmed, and overshadowed.” I want to love Him so much, and so cultivate His presence that I live each day overwhelmed by (boisterous, and giddy over) His presence, and I, in my human weakness, want to be so utterly dependent on Him in every area of life, that I live supernaturally overshadowed by His power. That is a great prayer for you to pray every morning, “Lord, all day today, I want to live overwhelmed by your presence, and overshadowed by your power.”
