One Thing 10/1/13

My perfume gave forth its fragrance.

The table in Song of Solomon, like in other places in scripture, speaks of the place of intimacy and fellowship. It’s where the King reposes and communes with His Beloved. In that place of Presence we respond in worship (adoration). God is looking for Adorers, not Workers. I’m not referring to singing, or music, though that can be an outlet; instead, I’m referring to Lovers, whose heart sing and make melody to The Lord. The enemy of our souls was once a worship leader before his fall, and He hates and is terrorized by the mutual affection of lovesick bride, and lovesick God.
