A Word for the Oppressed (8-8-11)
The oppressed are breaking out. They are crying out at a new level, and they have God’s attention. They are longing for justice, and God in His fierce anger is rising up against their oppressor. It is time for the oppressed to not take any more, to salt their wounds with fasting and prayer, heightening heaven’s attention. The Holy Judge will come down and swiftly exact justice on their oppressors, releasing the oppressed to enjoy their full rights as a citizen of heaven. If you have been oppressed for many years, it’s time to call your fast and to get Heaven’s attention, to lift its sword to break the yoke.
